Women in Business Awards 2009 - 18 July 2009
 
Zanét Couture participated in the inaugural Star Women in Business Awards for 2009.  The Gala Dinner, organised by the Women in Business Network, was held on 18 July 2009.
 
Businesswomen from across the Western Suburbs of Melbourne took part in the awards that are designed to promote initiative and enterprise and highlight the difference women can make accross a range of commercial entities.
 
Aneta Pazeski won the Women in Business Manufacture, Trade and Construction Awards for company, Zanét Couture, which produces unique, hand-made gowns and bridal wear.

Aneta's Look of Luxury - 21 July 2009
 
Aneta Pazeski is bringing glamour and luxury back. 
 
The winner of the Women in Business ManufactureTrade and Construction award said her company, Zanét Couture, was all about trying to bring elegance and luxury back to the era where Dior reigned supreme.
 
Zanét Couture produces unique, handmadegowns and bridal wear for all occasions. “The art of hand made is dying because everything’s done overseas and it’s cheap and it’s in bulk,” Ms Pazeski said.
 
Ms Pazeski, who’s a former director of CPA Australia, began her design career in 2001 when she started making one-off gowns for herself and friends and family.  It was only after she was continually stopped and complimented on wearing her own designs that she took the plunge and started up Zanét Couture from home.
 
Since then, Ms Pazeski was named the Designer of the Year in Professional Evening Wear for the 2007 Australian Masters of Fashion Awards and is this year gearing up for the Myer Fashion Awards.
 
Ms Pazeski was also a top 100 finalist in this year’s auditions for Foxtel’s fashion reality series Project Runway Australia.
 
In March this year she opened her own boutique in Cairnlea because she found it too hard to work with her two children buzzing around.
 
She is currently developing a small range of gowns to stock in boutiques and evening wear suppliers.
