About Zanét Couture

Zanét Couture is a made-to-measure Bridal & Eveningwear business based in Melbourne, Australia.  The business was established in 2004, and is run by award winning designer, Aneta Pazeski.  The business prides itself in designing and producing unique, timeless and exquisitely beautiful gowns.

“Zanét” is phonetically pronounced with a French accent similar to “Gza Gza Gabore”, “Gza-net”.  The word Zanét is a French version of Aneta’s name, and is also her nickname.

Aneta has been passionate about designing and creating clothing since she was a little girl.  “ It’s in my blood, it’s just something that I love.  My great-grandfather was a tailor in Europe, which is where I get my creative gene from!  I could spend hours beading or hand-sewing, and I don’t even notice the time pass by.  I get lost in a creative zone” she says.

Excellence in Customer Service

At Zanét Couture each client is provided with exclusive one-on-one service.  At the initial (complimentary) consultation, the designer works through the clients' requirements, and discusses style and fabric choices to suit the individual's body shape, and theme (if any) for the special occasion.

Zanét Couture uses a network of Australian wholesale fabric suppliers. There is a huge range of fabrics and colours to choose from, to suit every taste and budget. Fabrics range from affordable polyesters to high-quality Italian silks, French laces and beautifully beaded fabrics.  The choice is yours!

A sketch is drawn up for the desired style, detailing the design, fabric and any embellishments on the gown.  The client's measurements are taken, and a calico form is then prepared for each dress. This is a "mock-up" of what the gown will ultimately look like.  This is a critical step required to get a perfect fit on the body.

As the gown is constructed, each client requires approximately 2-3 fittings depending on the complexity of the gown.  The gown is finished off with any beading or embellishments and is pressed, ready for pick-up.  The final fitting stage is the most exciting, when you get to see your dress dreams become a reality!

Apart from the gown itself, Zanét Couture can cater for a range of other needs including veils, hairpieces, garders, men's ties & hankies, flower wraps and handbags, etc.

Zanét Couture is based on the belief that our clients' needs are of the utmost importance. We like to look after our clients to the best of our ability. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.

We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry.
